Linzy Shortlisted for The Old Vic 12 Choreographer

I am very pleased to have received news of being shortlisted for The Old Vic Theatre’s new scheme The Old Vic 12! (Details below)
A fantastic opportunity as a choreographer to work with some of the UK’s best theatre makers over the span of a year as well as to nurture my own artistry in dance, theatre and movement making. I’m beginning to feel very inspired for the coming year and have many thoughts and running discussions about work to be made for the new year.
All things crossed,

The Old Vic 12

The Old Vic 12 is Matthew Warchus’ exciting new scheme, supporting 12 individuals to explore their creative potential and take the next step in their careers.

The scheme will offer participants an opportunity to expand networks, receive first class mentorship and benefit from the prestigious association with The Old Vic through an attachment to Matthew Warchus’ first season.

The Old Vic 12 will consist of: 3 directors; 3 producers; 3 playwrights; 1 choreographer; 1 designer and 1 composer.

Matthew Warchus, Artistic Director of The Old Vic, said:

“One of my goals at this theatre is to try and offer to others some of the opportunities I had when I was starting out in the theatre, so I’m grateful to Peter de Haan for making it possible for The Old Vic to invite emerging talent to join us in our first season. I hope working in a creative hub where there are many talents across many disciplines will greatly inspire our first Old Vic 12.”
